Many Western webmasters are skeptical about the resumption of the ability to submit indexing requests to Google Search Console. Some of them believe that the search engine removed it forever.
In its announcement that it was temporarily disabling the feature, Google said it would be bringing it back “in the coming weeks.” However, this may mean completely different periods, up to several months. One thing is clear: it will not appear in the near future.
One webmaster asked on Twitter if this feature would be returning. Mueller responded that the ability to send requests will be restored when Google is ready for it.

There was also a poll on Twitter asking SEOs to share their thoughts on the return of this feature. The results look pessimistic: 57.9% of participants chose the “Never” option.

Let us remind you that Google has disabled the ability to send requests for indexing due to the need to make infrastructure changes.
